H.E President Uhuru Kenyatta hears the cry of Miraa farmers and all Farmers in Kenya.

The residents of Meru county in Kenya have been crying and going days without the simple basic needs. This is after the unscrupolous outbreak of the corona virus in kenya and Somalia which  hosts the biggest market of the Miraa produce from Meru county.        The united kingdom and netherlands were also consumers of Miraa (Khat) but they banned it some years back which served as a big blow to the Miraa farmers.The then meru county Governor Peter Munya who is currently the agriculture cabinet secretary tried all means to bring the london miraa market back through negotiations with the United kingdom government officials but his trials were futile.      That was a brief history to let you realise where the miraa scientificaly known as Khat started.Lets get back to the agenda.After the COVID-19 outbreak some kenyan governors starting with Governor Francis Kimemia of Nyandarua county, Governor Ali Roba of mandera county and  Hassan Joho the momb...

BBI (BUILDING BRIDGE INITIATIVE) REPORT PROPOSALS.

BBI REPORT: KEY RECOMMENDATIONS; 1. President term limit to be one term of 7 years. 2. Adopt a parliamentary system of Governance where president will be elected by parliament. 3. Reduce MPs from 349 to 180 ( amulgamate constituencies) 4. Introduce 14 regional governments with 1 elected representative (premier). Merge of kajiado Narok and kuria as one region.  5. Reduce senators to 29  (2 per region plus speaker) and make it the upper house representing the 14 regions. 6. Introduce Regional Assembly where the regional MCAs will seat and legislate on the regional laws. 7. Maintaining 47 county Governments with Governors and MCAs. 8. Introduce Prime minister position and deputies who will be appointed by the president.  9.
